Oral Beason has vast legal experience in the life settlement industry. He joined the business of Litai Assets in 2004. Oral provides oversight, guidance, and direction on legal matters arising within the company. This includes company governance, policy formation, employment matters, communication, intellectual property, insurance, and commercial transactions undertaken by the company.
Prior to working in the life settlement industry, Oral practiced in the litigation field. He has successful experience in claims involving class actions, commercial litigation, immigration, taxation, products liability, general personal injury litigation, age and disability discrimination, employment issues, wages, and breach of restrictive covenants, among others. He also advises corporations and business owners on various legal matters and litigation avoidance.
Oral earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, his Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from the University of Miami, School of Law, his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Law School, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Lee University. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in the U. S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Bar’s Law-Related Education Committee. Oral is engaged in a wide variety of public service activities.
